Upgrading from a 9800 gt to a gtx 750 ti

Hi,guys i want to upgrade my GPU to a gtx 750 ti and im not sure if my PSU will handle it.

Lc Power 6550 GP version 2.0.

Hey Jon,

Well if you want to check if you PSU can handle your GPU you need to check how much watt your are using with the new setup. there are several calculators for this. (eg: http://www.extreme.outervision.com/psucalculatorlite.jsp). Just compare whatever value rolls out with what you have. What you should also check is that your CPU won't bottleneck if you install a new card.

As long as my PSU is compatible with the 750 ti then its ok,because the 750 ti can run on a 300w PSU.

Since your PSU able to handle 9800GT it should be able to handle 750Ti at ease.
