upgrading from a pentium g3260 3.3 ghz to i5 4690? worth it

i have a 4th gen mobo and that is running a g3260 .Now i want to upgrade the cpu without changing the mobo so was thinking of the 15 4690. so do i do that?

P.S. i play games like pubg and cs go. i also have a gtx 1060 lying to be used.

Definitely yes. Even better if you could snag a 4790/K for cheap or a 4770/K. But yeah. A 4690 is plenty with a GTX 1060.
