Upgrading from AMD to Intel

Hello,

I've been using an AMD CPU until now. Soon, I'll change my CPU to an Intel i5. Will I have to reinstall my Windows 10?
(I know, that my Win 10 license expire, I'll buy a new one later)

It expires? But if you are changing motherboards, and you are updated to Build 1607, you can tie your license key to your Microsoft account: http://www.windowscentral.com/how-re-activate-windows-10-after-hardware-change

first - you should to reinstallation, to keep the system clean - but most likely it will run "somehow" with new hardware... (after getting rid of old drivers and installing the new ones)

on the other hand you do not need new key, if you just hange "defective" parts of a computer and explain this kindly to MS hotline.
But this is assuming, some of your old components are overheating, or the lan chip / sound chip defective - which makes your
change reasonable.
