Upgrading from an FX 6300 to an i5 3570K, will the pc be much faster overall?

I'm about to update my cpu from na FX 6300 to na i5 3570K tonight and i'd like to know if the speed improvement will be all over or focused on games. I haven't got na SSD, still on HDD's, could it hold the i5 back or will I still see a significant improvement?

I guess the difference will be noticable.

No,they HDD won't hold the i5 back at all. Just your windows and maybe some games will load slower.Not a huge deal.
