Upgrading from DDR2-675 to DDR2-800 worth it?

I have a Gigabyte DS3 paired with an E6600. Assuming everything is at stock speeds, would I notice any real improvement if I swapped out my existing 2GB of Corsair XMS2 DDR2-675 for 2GB of Corsair XMS2 DDR2-800? I am running XP Pro. I am assuming there would be virtually no difference, but I wanted to ask around to be sure.

Thanks.

You probably wouldnt notice the difference unless you tried to overclock.

shady i had almost the exact same setup except i have the e6420. I just bought a 2gb kit from OCZ of ddr2 800 solely for the purpose of getting a better OC. But i can tell you that the Corsair 675 kit OC'ed extremely well for what it was. It allowed my e6420 to get up to 3.4

Moral of this story.. don't upgrade, it's not worth it unless you're OC'ing very high. hth
