Hi everyone, currently I have a FX-6100 cpu and GTX 970 gpu. My cpu bottlenecks gpu especially on cpu-based games like Arma 3. So I want to upgrade my cpu but I can't decide what to do.

If I get an I5 4460 and a decent Mother Board, it'll cost me about 280$

But if I get a 7. gen I5, cpu by itself costs more than 300$ + MotherBoard + Ram

So, should I upgrade my cpu, will it worth it at this point? (since 4460 is a little bit old) And if I should, is 7. gen I5 worth it for the price? I prefer not to pay more than 280$ actually.

Or do you have a better suggestion for less than 280$?

Ryzen 1400 won't be at i5 level, it will likely be somewhere between an i3 7100 and i5 7500. May I ask what country you live in? The prices your quoting seem a but high.

I've updated prices, I live in Turkey and technology is a little bit expensive here.

My limit is about 1000 Turkis Lira (divide with 3.5 = 285$)

Your suggestion is about 1500 Turkis Lira, which is expands my limit too much
