Hi all,
my question: is it worth upgrading from a i5 7600k to ryzen 3600x?
i have been out of the "game" for a while now and could use any help i can get.
i use my computer for work (android studio, where i did notice stuttering when working with emulators) and gaming (recently i'm only playing cod Warzone and i play in 1920x1080 resolution, with a 144hz monitor, i'm getting around 100fps in warzone).
the rest of the components: 16gb RAM (2x8gb), msi gtx 1070ti, 2 SSD's (for windows, programs and games) and a HDD (used only for movies).

Do you maybe think a 3700 would be a much better upgrade?
i could really appreciate your help here.
Thank you in advance.

a upgrade to a 3600x would be good, but i would wait for new ryzen chips.Should come out by the end of this year.
Also 3700x would be a more reasonable than 3600x,but its your choice.Either wait,or if you need a better cpu now go with 3700x.

the 7600K's poor 4c/4t scenario has been a real thorn in many 7600K owners' sides, as newer games now pretty much beg for and need at least 6 real cores, and do even better with 8 cores. (9700K) Naturally, the 10600K (6c/12t) does very well, as does the 10700K...

Ryzen 5-3600 does VERY well for the money, but, the longer you wait to pulling that trigger, the more sense it makes to wait and see what AMD has up it's sleeve for it's next gen for the desktop, undoubtedly due out 'before long'...
