I have been looking to upgrade my ivy bridge computer(Alienware x51 R2). Then I found the ryzen 5 1600 for my budget. For motherboard I chose Asus B350 Plus and RAM 8GB corsair 2133MHz. Will this configuration work If I replace my current build.
Current Build:

1. intel i5 3330
2.stock alienware mini itx motherboard
3.2x 4GB 1666MHz corsair ddr3
4.MSI GTX 750 ti 2GB OCV1
5.1TB Western digital HDD
6.Deepcool DN400 80% efficiency
7.Deepcool Tesseract SW case

Also, BTW suggest me a good power supply from corsair if the current one is not enough for the upgrade. Thanks in advance

Should do fine, the RM is a little older but it should do fine just fine if it's brand new. Ryzen 1600 + B350 Motherboard is a good combo.
This is an ideal budget Power Supply from Corsair. https://au.pcpartpicker.com/product/FQ648d/corsair-power-supply-cp9020101na.

Just another note with your build, i suggest you find some faster RAM since Ryzen benefits a lot from it, 2133 MHz is on the slow side i'd suggest trying to find a nice 2800+ MHz kit if you can. Hope this helps :)

Here is a 2800 MHz kit for reference > https://pcpartpicker.com/product/Bx648d/gskill-memory-f42800c16d8grr.

Hey man thanks for the reply. That corsair CXM series is costly due to the import duties levied on them. So, how about VS series or CS or CX. I am also assuming that replacing the motherboard will not get me in windows activation issue.

Your Windows key should be paired with your Microsoft account if you have activated it. Corsair CX, VS and CS are pretty low quality, what stores/country are you in? I can help you find something at the price.

I am from India. Those are the options available ( I.e Corsair CS,CX,VS). Can you suggest me something from another manufacturers like(cooler master, Antec ,Seasonic). The problem here we have is no interest in self building gaming PCs that's why consoles do sell well in my country. So, I am kind of low on options as there will be limited choices for power supplies. The best I could buy from is Amazon, Ebay, Flipkart.

I guess primary application is gaming? You'd look to upgrade GPU eventually of course.

Seconded about faster RAM when it's for Ryzen.

What are the ratings of your PSU (wattage, 80 Plus certification)?

I Need 400W-500W PSU. When I used the power supply calculator it showed 227 Watts. I am also looking forward to Seasonic SMPS S12II 520W. Is it enough for my build.. How is the quality of Seasonic products. Yes, My primary application is Gaming

Hey Everyone, I just got corsair RM 450 PSU in a sale on amazon. I am going to buy a B350 Motherboard and Ryzen 5 1600. Let me know about the stability of the build.
