Hello!

I would like to play a game on my pc (Ori&Blind Forest over steam) and I noticed it's a bit sluggy, so I guess my old GK is a bit too old. ^^
Can you give me a recommendation for a new grahics card for my system < 200€, please?

CPU: AMD Athlon II X2 250 (3.0 GHz)
RAM: 1*4 GB DDR3
STORAGE: TOSHIBA DT01ACA050 SATA Disk Device (500GB)
PSU: ATX Switching Power Supply MAX420
MAINBOARD: Gigabyte Technology GA-78LMT-S2P

Current GK: NVIDIA GeForce 210 (via PCI-Express x16)

Would, for example, the 750-ti work with my power supply? Or would you recommend a newer/different model? Or do I need to upgrade my power supply to have any hope for improvement?

Solution
The500W PSU you mention above is way more than necessary for the GTX 750 Ti. The 750 Ti is a 60W card basically. Any 300W or better will be fine as long as it has a strong 20A or better +12V rail. Your present PSU is what we refer to as a 'fake' 420W.

Yes, the BeQuiet is fine. It will give you some headroom for future expansion if needed.

Thanks for the quick reply!
I havea different Power Supply: https://1drv.ms/i/s!AldEMXBw5SeHjFqi-1TNoVKwG7Kl
(Sorry, I forgot the model Number above: LC420H-12)
It has a (16A, +3.3V), a (15A, +12V) and a (16A, +5V) Connection.

That is going to be a problem. Not enough capacity on the +12V rail. The +12V rail does all the 'heavy' work, like the GPU, CPU, drives, fans, etc. I would not risk using the GTX 750 Ti on that PSU. It will probably work, but it will be at its max and probably cause reboots, shut downs, or die.

Thanks for the information!
Well, I would also buy a new power supply, but I don't really have a clue, which hardware would be fitting.
The 750-ti was a suggestion to upgrade from the 210 someone else got in 2014, so I would also buy a different GK...
There are just so many different pieces that can be bought.^^

So, I have a 420W power supply and I heard be quiet would be a good manufactrurer, so if I look on amazon for a 500W power supply I get for example the
be quiet! BN241 System Power 8 80+ PC ATX power supply 500W
which has 2 strong 12V and up to 4 pci express cables.
That would be enough for the 750-ti? There are also different versions of the 750-ti (1gb, 2gb, 4gb) I would just want to play safe and buy the 4gb, although the cooler seems to be really big...
