[SOLVED] Upgrading Gaming PC

Just need some help on some upgrades, don't worry about pricing. I just want to upgrade either cpu or gpu but have no idea which would be better to upgrade.
Specs:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600
GPU: ASUS RX 580 Dual Gaming OC 8gb
Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws V (2x8gb) 3200MHz
Motherboard: MSI B450M

Also, I possibly could get a 1080ti off a friend but I think it might be too powerful to go with CPU so I have got it just yet.

upgrade the GPU

The 3600 can handle a 1080ti, don´t worry
A 6800XT or 3080 can be used as well. In higher resolutions than 1080p the CPU bottleneck wouldn´t be that big

Be sure your PSU can handle it
