Question Upgrading Gateway motherboard

Looking to upgrade my pc parts one by one and i dont know if i should get a new motherboard or what a compatible alternative would be since it seems fairly dated. I have a Gateway IPISB-VR version 1.01

What is your current config (as detailed as possible)?

I think that hardware is from circa 2011.

DDR 3, socket 1156.

I don't know what your situation is, but I'd expect very little of the hardware is of much use today in a rebuild. Possibly the drives? The case may be proprietary.

I have an intel core I3-2130 3.40ghz dual core cpu 1gb sapphire hd7850 radeon video card - can't seem to find exact model #. 2 sticks of ram from hynix part number-hmt451u6afr8c-pb. 1 stick of hynix part number-hmt351u6afr8c-pb, and 1 stick of samsung part number-m378b1g73bho-ck0. totaling to 20gb and lastly i use a Rosewill RX850-s-b 850 watts. Let me know if any more details are preferred Looking into buying an Asus rog strix b550-f gaming motherboard as it would fit the current graphics card and power supply

Yes from what ive read i was able to find a few motherboards but unfortunately only my gpu and power supply match up with the motherboards ive found so might just have to deal with replacing most of parts
