I wanted to improve my FPS for playing Overwatch and I’m pretty sure it’s my GeForce GT 720 that’s bottlenecking me (FPS 40-60 on VERY low settings). I’m thinking of upgrading the graphics card to a GeForce GTX 1050Ti but wanted to ask a couple of things before I buy the card / open the case and risk voiding my warranty:
1. Will it boost up my FPS / graphics quality significantly?
2. Will it actually fit / how do I check without opening the case first? It’s quite a compact / narrow tower (https://www.asus.com/Tower-PCs/VivoPC-K20CD/)
3. Any issues with cooling / power? (Both are listed as requiring 300W so power shouldn’t be an issue?)
4. Any other risks I should be aware of?
I’m pretty new to this upgrading thing so any help would be appreciated! Thank you!
