Upgrading GeForce 8800 GTS, $150 Budget

Usage: Watching Movies, Crysis at full settings (hopefully, but probably not a realistic goal), Flight Simulator

Current GPU/Power Supply: EVGA 8800 GTS 320 mb, 600W

Mobo: Asus Striker Extreme

CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E6750

Monitor Resolution: Super High (I'd love to use my HDTV as my monitor)

I've been out of the loop for a couple years here and I'd like to see what my options are for upgrading my video card.

MUST HAVE: HDMI out port

I feel that any upgrade will improve my performance at this point, but I'm not sure.

I'd really try to find the extra $10 for the MSI (until the rebate comes in).

Oops. Just noticed the MSI has only mini-HDMI while the Zotac has full sized.

either an AMD 6850 or 6870 will do the trick. If you want to go nvidia, a gtx460 or gtx560. I few months ago i retired my 8800gts. while the 6850 does provide a nice boost in performance, some games dont run well with only a dual core processor. Crysis will play at full detail 1080p no problems, just maybe not with AA turned on. Some newer games, like Crysis 2 and COD black ops, really need a quad core CPU to run smoothly along with a decent vid card.
