Upgrading Gpu for Metro last light

What's the best card for the buck nvidia now that'll destroy this game with all setting maxed out, like SSAO x2 and 1080p ?

Would like the card to max stuff out for a couple years. Budget about 300-500

Something like the 770 is what you need. It will run games maxed out and will do so for a while, as for later on you can sli a second card to boost the lifetime further. Any model is good, Asus, EVGA, and and Gigabyte are the best.

But the 680 has now been out for a while and since you can currently max out some games you asking to be able to max out the hardest game to do so right now and on top of that to do it for a few years. The GTX 770 is a top notch card but it's not the best or Nvidias top model but it will perform as well as the 680.

To get the kind of performance and longevity that your looking for you would have to double your budget and get a GTX Titan or GTX 690.

If your willing to look at the AMD/RADEON models then you could get a 7970 for just under $500 and it would give you close to what your looking for.
