Hi I just got an old custom pc that has a lenovo is6xm motherboard with a Gigabyte GV-R6850C-1GD GPU. I would like to upgrade the Gpu but i have no idea if it will be compatible to the build.
Here is the Build:
Mobo: Lenovo IS6XM
Processor: Intel Core i5-2500 CPu @3.30 Ghz
RAM: 14GB
GPU: Gigabyte GV-R6850C-1GD
Powersupply: THermaltake TR2 430W
(I'm sorry I'm new to computers)
My budget is around CAD 400-600

Solution
A better PSU would be required. 14 GB of RAM is enough, but it most likely is mixed and matched RAM and as such can give complications in the future.

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

Video Card: EVGA - GeForce GTX 1060 6GB 6GB SC GAMING Video Card ($379.99 @ Amazon Canada)
Power Supply: SeaSonic - FOCUS Gold 550W 80+ Gold Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply ($77.99 @ PC-Canada)
Total: $457.98
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available
