Question Upgrading gpu

Any recommendations for gpu?

I want to upgrade my gpu as i believe it is time for my old one to go but im not sure what to pick
My current specs:
Cpu-Amd ryzen 5 5600
Gpu- Amd radeon r9 380
Ram- 32g ddr4
(idk if i need to mention anything else)
Im not particularly looking to do 4k gaming or anything im not big on resolution(1080p is more than enough for me) and my budget is probably at max like 500.

What power supply do you have? With that system I’d consider looking at the 6800xt or 7800xt if my budget is 500.

If you can afford used... 3080 12GB.

Only thing about the 3080 12gb is the 12gb of vram. Fine for 1080p, maybe even 1440p, but may be a limiting factor sooner imo.

Right now i have a 600w power supply but i also dont mind switching that out if i need to
