Question Upgrading GPUs

Im planning on upgrading from a 1060 3gb to a 2060, should i uninstall my old drivers before installing my 2060? What should I do ive never done this before.
 
Any graphics card will have a default low res mode that runs without any drivers.
Since the old and new cards will use the same drivers, it is not necessary to uninstall the old drivers.
After you swap cards, install the latest driver package downloaded directly from nvidia.
You can retain your old settings or do a clean install.
And, you might want to consider a custom install.
I do not select 3d, physix, or sound.
I also do not select the nvidia experience option.
I update the graphics driver on my own schedule when needed.
To my mind the less monitoring apps I have running the better.
