Hello,

I have a pc with the following specifications:

Motherboard: Asus P5VD2-VM
Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo E6420
Graphics: NVidia 8500 GT 256 mb
Power: 300 Watt (I will upgrade this to 450 watt)

I think about placing a new Graphics card in the pc.

I use the following things: Vista, Flight Simulator X, Photoshop on an Acer Full Hd 22''

What is the best graphic card on the market this moment that will fit in the pc (and works well with the other componensts)?
It doesn't matter whether it's Nvidia or Ati. What do you recommend?

Thanks!

Does your $140 budget include the PSU?

If not, look into a 4870 1Gb for $125 after MIR.

If you need a PSU for that price also, I would recommend saving a little more and getting the above 4870 1gb and a Corsair, Seasonic, PCP&C, Enermax or Antec Earthwatts 450w+ PSU.
If you are stuck with $140 regardless, switch the GPU to a 4870 512Mb or 4850 as required by the cost of the PSU.
