Upgrading Graphics Card from ATI Radeon HD 4300/4500

Hi I've recently decided to upgrade my terrible stock ATI Radeon HD 4300/4500 (This is what my computer said it was) to a much better card. Here are some of my specs.
4gb DDR2 RAM (Just stock RAM that came with it)
Intel Core 2 Quad Q8300 @2.5Ghz
ATI Radeon HD 4350
Motherboard: Don't know actually...
Stock Dell 350W PSU (don't know specifics)
Somebody already told me I have x16 PCI-e 2.0.
I have the stock Dell Studio 540! Nothing changed at all.
I looked at the best cards for the money article located here and decided on either the 6850/6870/6950. Will any of these cards fit (as in size wise)? If not what is the best quality card that will fit? (I want to use this PC for the likes of playing Skyrim on High)
Also I AM going to upgrade to 8gb of ddr2 RAM and get an HX 650 Corsair PSU (if I should get more Wattage just say). Could anyone tell me if I should upgrade my Processor too?

For your resolution, Gigabyte 6850 will work great because it has the highest performance out of all the 6850's while draining the least energy. As for the PSU, a 500w Corsair will be fine. There's no reason to upgrade to 8gb because games don't use more than 3GB.

So a 6850 would fit in my case? Not to pester but what about my processor, is it reasonably good? Would it bottleneck my game? How much leeway would I have with a 500w PSU? I'd prefer it to be reasonable and not cutting it close.

Can I just have someone install it or are there requirements for processors in the same way that you have to have PCI-e to have PCI-e graphics cards? Just wondering cause this deal looks pretty good and it's rated extremely well.
Edit: Oh... Never mind I found out I have a LGA775 socket and it needs a AM3 socket. Why are Intel Processors so expensive? 🙁

Now does anyone know if I have 2 PCI sockets like this review says I need: http://www.guru3d.com/article/msi-geforce-gtx-560-twin-frozer-ii-review/4 Is there anyway to find out what my Motherboard is without opening up my PC?

Waiiitttt, I downloaded GPU Z it says I have PCI-e 2.0. But when I mouse over it says I'm running at PCI-e 1.1!!! I'm really confused. And sorry if I'm asking to many questions but I don't really know anything : l
