Upgrading Graphics card.

Hey, I have a NIVIDA GT610, and thinking about upgrading, but I'm not entirely sure about what to get. Only want to spend around $150 on the card. But if I have to upgrade the psu (500w at the moment), I can spend more. Thanks in advance!

In your price range, the best bang for your buck is either a Radeon 7790 or R9 270:

If you can swing it, I'd suggest getting the R9 270, it's more powerful by a fair margin over the 7790.

As for your PSU, what make and model is it? Just want to make sure it has enough amps on the +12 rail and should be 80+ certified or better.

You could get a nVidia 650ti for that price, or a R7 260X if going AMD/ATI. Just make sure your case is big enough to support these graphics cards as they can be quite large.

Personally, I would replace the PSU with a more reputable brand, like Corsair, XFX, OCZ, Antec or Seasonic. It should also be at least 80+ certified. Wouldn't want you to lose a new GPU to a questionable PSU.

Should be, but look around at the 550w units as well. Sometimes the 550w units are on sale and you can get them for the same or similar price.
