I have a low end store bough PC and I would like to upgrade my GPU. I currently have,

AMD R7 200 Series GPU
AMD FX 4300 Quad Core
350 Watt PSU

I would like to upgrade the GPU until I can look into getting a better system overall.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

What psu do you have?

Technically, yes 350W should be enough for that CPU and GPU but they're right that there isn't much room for growth and if it will not handle intense load very well. I would look at a 550W PSU (minimum) that supports the power connections needed for the 1050ti which is likely a PCI-E 6-Pin (recommend one that supports 2 in case you upgrade your GPU down the road - you can find dual 6-pin to 8-pin adapters since the 1060s and above require 8-pin).

I switched to a 1050ti in my budget rig (still using an 8150 though I just bought a 9590 for $100 to max out my options with that motherboard) and it is doing fantastic at 1080p and relatively quiet even when playing games on my Rift.
