hey guys im looking to upgradfed my graphics card i have a cyber power gamer ultra 2098
http://www.legitreviews.com/article/1762/1/
and i was looking at maybe a 660 or something like it i really dont know. im not looking to spend more then 200 and i dont want to upgrade my psu (mainly because idk how too) so maybe i could use one of those converter cords idk but if i have too upgrade i guess that's fine i would have too learn how (id prefer not too) and i would like the total price too be under 200$ if that's possible i mean give or take 20 if that's what it takes and its a very good build. i would be playing mainly starcraft 2 on low (i really dont care about settings) but i will be playing other games on higher settings like LoL, or batman arkaham city and other games so i want a gpu that's capable of doing a lot of things like on higher settings ( i meainly will be streaming my self playing starcraft 2 on low)

well what about my power supply situation is my psu good enough to use a convertor because idk how to install a new psu maybe i could learn but id prefer to use a convertor but if thats not the best idea then i wont but then i would have to get a cheaper card to get a new psu right?

after looking at the link you posted and seeing this:
inside-side.jpg

which would make this the PSU:
ATX-CW500W

i wouldn't suggest a graphics card that needs more than ONE 6 pin power connection. so no "converter"

i really would feel uneasy about using anything with that . . .

the million dollar question is, what resolution are you play at?

you *could* get away with a 7770 if you are not 1080. then you would have plenty to get a quality PSU.

best i can find near the budget is:
Antec NEO ECO 520C 520W $54.99
$39.99 after $15.00 rebate card

XFX Core Edition FX-785A-CNL4 Radeon HD 7850 2GB $194.99
$174.99 after $20.00 rebate card

ok, you can play @1080 so a 7850 would be better unless you turn down the resolution when gaming (in the game settings)

now i could suggest this cheaper PSU:
CORSAIR Builder Series CX430 $39.99
$19.99 after $20.00 rebate card

though the overall wattage is lower and the 12 volt rail is 2 amps less than what you have now, it is a much better quality unit. but you really won't be any further ahead with it.

you may want to consider a 7770 it does well but you would have to lower the gaming settings to get a good frame rate.
