i have a dell inspiron 3668 i7-7700 cpu@3.60ghz windows 10 pro and most games wont run well what card is a good replacement without replacing my power supply 16.0 gb ram also

What wattage is your PSU? Assuming your PSU has no GPU connections, but is powerful enough for it, the GTX 1050ti is the best GPU you could use. This may not be the case though. How many PSU connections does your PSU have, and what is the wattage of it?

GTX 1070/Ti
GTX 1080/Ti
RX 5700/XT
i think those gpus would be the best for you cpu.
Also i dont know about the psu..
If you can, list the make/model of your psu.
If you for some reason dont want to change your psu,gtx 1050Ti would be the best option, but its wayy more weaker than the cards i listed above,so its your choice.

I really didn't want to run a external power supply I have the 250 watt I believe
I'm not certain on the whether your motherboard has a 45-50watt or full spec 75watt PCIE x16 slot. From what I have found online of other peoples success, they were running a GTX 1050 TI that doesn't require extra power. This means that the best GPU you can run without upgrading the PSU, is a GTX 1650 (not Super), which is faster than the GTX 1050 TI by around 15-25% depending on the game. There are newer models of the GTX 1650 that have GDDR6 ram and they're slightly faster than the original GDDR5 versions, but also slightly more expensive. It likely won't matter which version you get since most games only see a 3-5fps difference with GDDR6.

Selecting VGA cards its not easy. Compatibility should be retained also at VGA card length.
If you cannot use a longer card than 190mm then the ASUS 1660 super MINI OC, this could save you the day, if you are willing to pay 250 Euro for it.
