PREFERRED WEBSITE(S) FOR PARTS: New Egg

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: I need something that will stay cool. I would really appreciate a high end 2GB+ Graphics Card, I'm not worried about the money so much but the cooling is the main issue, I want it to stay cool while keeping around 60FPS in high end games such as BF3.

Hi - with that budget & your pref for AMD, go with 7970 & the ghz version if it's <$40,
but right now it's running $440 after mir.
Here's a couple 7970's to consider:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202008 nets to $393

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150596 nets to $380

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814131468 nets to $360

Oh, what's the make/model of your psu?, plenty of power if it's a quality unit.

What do you mean? Even upgrading to a 7870 he'd see almost double the performance gain.

700Watt powersupply, nothing fancy but with my current set up it runs with plenty of power to spare so i'm not at all worried about it. The only other issue I have is the cooling, which all in all isn't a big issue either when you look at the facts. To be honest it's a pet peeve, my current set up by GPU never gets above 75 Celcius no matter what I throw at it.

I want to upgrade to gain quality, my current GPU doesn't run above 75 Celcius no matter what I throw at it. You are right though, i think i made it too much a big deal in the post, it's a huge pet peeve which was why I asked. Looking at the suggestions i'm not at all worried about it anymore, but i'll definitely take your advice, i've got 3 more slots for fans on my case.

Since we are on this topic, i have a hd 6850 and was wondering what the best graphic card would be for an upgrade. I am looking to spend anywhere from 200-250.
