Upgrading : i5 4590 | GTX1070 or i7 7700 | GTX970

Hi guys, im in dilemma about upgrading my pc, ive been thinking should i upgrade my cpu or gpu. i5 4590 + GTX1070 or I7 7700 + GTX970. Please let me hear your opinion thanks!

Current spec:
i5 4590
GTX970
16gb DDR3 ram
144hz monitor

Considering it's late for either, maybe just wait until the holidays to decide. 8th-gen Intel is coming up, and maybe GPU prices will get better by then and/or we'll know about the next series from nvidia.

Keep your extra cash, get better tech for less. More money doesnt always mean better quality.

You could in theory buy the 1070 now and wait on the new intel chips to launch. Or wait for both considering theres hints of a 1070 "ti"
