Hello and thanks for the Browse. I am looking to upgrade my home built PC but i am finding it difficult to narrow down my selections. Any help will be greatly appreciated. I am hoping for 4/5 new components to upgrade my pc which has the following specs:
Intel I5-4570 cpu,
8gb ddr3 RAM (Ballistix Sport xt).
Motherboard is a MSI X87 G43
WD 1TB HD
My monitor is 1920 by 1200 16:10 24" dell.
Case is Antec p180.
Speakers logitech Z-5550 5.1.
GPU is AMD 5770 series.

I am looking to get a SSD, a Sound card, A Graphics card, A Projector and possibly mouse and keyboard.
I have looked at:
A Nvidia 970 sounds good (MSI 970 twin frozr) as does the Creative soundblaster Z. I am also looking at an Optoma HD141X projector. I have no idea about the SSD or mouse and keyboard. I wont be purchasing anything for about 4-6 weeks. I also have the option of leaving out the projector and going on Holiday. but i guess that's more of a personal decision :)

I hope i have given enough details here. Thanks in advance

SSD - The Samsung 850 EVO is a great option at the moment for its price and performance.
Keyboard - Mechanical and wired.
Mouse - Personal preference, but programmable buttons are nice.
Sound Card - Skip the sound card. You won't notice a difference between it and the onboard when gaming.

PSU - What power supply do you currently have?
Why the projector instead of a pair of nice monitors?

Hi, im looking at between £400 without the projector and £840 with it.
Im hoping Witcher 3 but at the moment i play Guild Wars 2 and cities skylines. other triple a titles also want to be played.
My PSU i cant remember. will have to check. Its modular with braided cables, maybe an antec if my memory is correct. Thank you Kwa-e

If it turns out to be a decent 500W model it should be sufficient, but I'll still need the part number in order to be sure.

As for the projector, I'm not very knowledgeable on that, Sorry xD

If your power supply is a Corsair CX series or something I would personally go for a new power supply as the Corsair CX series of power supplies use poor capacitors.
