Upgrading i5 to i7 - problem with bios

I have a GA-Z170MX-Gaming 5 motherboard and an i5 6600k processor. I wanted to upgrade my processors to to i7 7700, but in my bios there is no option to upgrade to it. I can only upgrade it to an i7 6700k I checked the info on this motherboard and the i7 7700 is compatible. I tried starting it up with the i7 7700 inside also, but the monitor wouldn’t have a signal. I don’t know if there is a way I can make my bios accept the i7 7700.

You need to update your motherboard bios for the 7th gen processors to work
