I currently have a Gigabyte H110M-A motherboard (LGA1151 socket) and a Pentium G4400. Could I upgrade to a G4560, G5400, or G4600 without a BIOS flash? I bought the motherboard new over a year ago, so I assumed it wasn't equipped with the BIOS necessary for seventh and eighth gen CPUs.

You need F20 Bios version or later for support G4560 or G4600. As King_v said, your mobo can not support the eighth generation coffee lake and, portato can not put the G5400.

You can see your bios version entrering the bios or with program CPUZ.

There is a possibility that when you bought the mobo you already had the F20 version, but it may not be like that. You must check it.
