Hi I have a Toshiba satellite L50-B-21G laptop I have had it about 5 years now, but stopped using it a few years ago, (mainly use desktop). I was wondering whether I could replace the hdd with an ssd as using it today and the last time I used it was quite slow it still seems a bit delayed today. Would I be better of replacing it with a ssd drive, can it be upgraded to ssd and is it hard to do. any help much appreciated. thanks.

Solution
Yes, you can replace your HDD with a new SSD and upgrading your system from HDD to SSD is one of the best things you do with your system & the easiest way for the same is to physically install it, connect the right cables, and reinstall the Windows. But when you don’t want to deal with setting up Windows and wants to get all your critical data, files and folders on a new hard drive then it might be challenging. You can also install SSD & keep HDD both in your system & later if you want you can also move your data from, HDD to SSD.
