[SOLVED] Upgrading laptop to an SSD; worried about my Windows License

My laptop has a 5400 RPM HDD and a CD drive. I am planning on buying a 2.5” SSD to install on where the current HDD is right now then putting that HDD in the CD drive. I want to install a fresh copy of Windows 10. I already know how to do the installation of the components and how to install Windows using an install tool. I want to know if my Windows license remains even after changing the boot drive.

If you tie your Windows license to a Microsoft account you shouldn't have any problems after reinstalling Windows in regards to reactivation - https://www.windowscentral.com/how-re-activate-windows-10-after-hardware-change
