Upgrading laptop

I just purchased an Acer laptop and they didn't have the upgrade options I wanted, so I was going to buy the parts and install them myself. I'd like to get a 1tb drive for storage and also upgrade the ram. What type of ram and harddrive (ssd?) do I need to get? I pasted the link below.
