Hello All,

First time post and noob upgrader here!.

Let me start with my problem - My PC started restarting "BSOD" - stop code : memory management. I downloaded Speccy and it seems my Graphics card is overheating so up to 110%. The PC is a couple of years old so i think an upgrade will work to remedy this.

Here is the specs:
Lenovo H50-50 - Product number - 90B6007BUK

Operating System
Windows 10 Home 64-bit
CPU
Intel Core i5 4460 @ 3.20GHz 36 °C
Haswell 22nm Technology
RAM
8.00GB Single-Channel DDR3 @ 798MHz (11-11-11-28)
Motherboard
LENOVO SHARKBAY (SOCKET 0) 25 °C
Graphics
S240HL (1920x1080@60Hz)
1023MB NVIDIA GeForce GT 705 (MSI) 63 °C (i have got the case ope and its by the open window to keep it cool - quick fix)
Storage
1863GB Seagate ST2000DM001-1ER164 (SATA ) 30 °C
Optical Drives
MATSHITA DVD-RAM SW840

I have seen similiar posts but being a noob i would like some help making sure the ones i have in my basket are compatible.

I would like to use amazon if you have any recommendations.

I was thinking:
GPU
https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01N33SOXU/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&psc=1
RAM
https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B006EWUO22/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&psc=1

I could not find an exact match RAM on amazon so just thought replacing it with 2 would be easier.

Please Help.

Hi Kedy.
I think your gpu and RAM options are great But you might wanna check if your motherboard can support 1600 mhz, if it can, go for it.

Hoping I was helpful 😀
