Hi, I have a Lenovo Thinkpad 430s with i5-3230m 2.6 ghz, 8gb RAM, Intel HD 4000 and NVIDIA NVS 5200m. I am trying to determine if upgrading the RAM and adding a SSD will be enough for me to teach pt online using interactive video similar to Skype and Zoom.
I also need to add a monitor (since I need larger screen) and cannot find what I would be able to use that would give me the smoothest connection. I already have highest speed internet and an ethernet connection but had lag time that was frustrating.
Do I need a new machine or can I upgrade? Thanks for the input!
