Upgrading MacBook Pro SSD

So here's the deal.

I have a Late 2012 MacBook Pro 13-inch with Retina display.

I want to upgrade the internal SSD from 120GB to something larger, however I have a regular 2.5" 480GB SATA SSD. After opening the computer, I noticed that the internal SSD it came with is not the right connector for the new SSD.

My question is whether or not it's possible to find some sort of converter from

Is it possible? Do I need to get the special SSD?

They aren't standard drives and this is about the only place where you can buy one.
Your only other option that I know of is to buy a used one pulled from a mac.
