I am thinking of getting an Ideapad 320, specifically the model with the AMD A9-9420 APU since it's overall better than the Pentium N4200 model in both CPU and GPU. However, I have a couple of questions before I buy.
Since I'm a tinkerer, I will want to modify this laptop to my specifications. I'd like to upgrade the memory and replace the hard drive with a smaller, but faster, SSD.
Does this model support memory upgrades? Can anybody point me to a specific SODIMM that would work? I am assuming it's DDR4 2133 but I know from experience that laptops can be fickle about what memory works and what doesn't on their motherboards.
Secondly, I'm assuming I can replace the 1TB hard drive with a SSD, something along the lines of this. This laptop does use the standard 2.5 inch SATA format, right? I want to do this because I want to run Linux.
