Solution
I would recommend a Ryzen 3600 over the 2600 if your budget allows.

As far as not reinstalling Windows, sorry you probably should. Not because switching from Intel to AMD but rather switching mobos and the issues that can arise from that.

Hmm, for the mobo's sake i'll probably just do a fresh install. I choose the 2600 because it was on sell and is only $119 (with tax). 3600 is same price as the 2600 when not on sell according to amazon (I think thats just a way for them to try and snag a sell) but i would only save $9.01 on the 3600 vs the $79.06 (40%). Also not to mention pcpartpicker says the 3600 has potential issues, "Some AMD B450 chipset mobo's may need update prior to using matisse CPU's Upgrading the bio's may require a different CPU that is supported by older BIO's revision's" and i dont have an older CPU in AMD so seems like a hassle if do have issues.

Many BIOS have alerady been updated at factory to support 3000 series Ryzen. However these boards can have a BIOS updated wihout the use of a CPU installed

I did some research with the mobo i got and the 3600 and seems nobody that i've seen test it had issues so ima get the 3600 instead, thanks for the suggestion. from what i can tell the 3600 is a $250ish-$400 CPU and i just bought it for $203, thats a good deal if you ask me.
