Upgrading Mobo & CPU (Windows Issue)

I want to upgrade my motherboard and my CPU, but I was told that I needed to do a fresh re-install of Windows 7 to do so. I don't really want to spend another 100$ on Windows as I did the first time.. so is there any way around this?

Install Win 7, click activate later when it prompts you for the activation key during the Windows load. Then follow the directions for the registry hack. Works great.

You should be able to re-use the same key, if you have issues contact MS.
