Question Upgrading motherboard and CPU with oem windows 10

I am going to be upgrading my cpu from an i5 6500 to i7 8700 so I am going to need a new motherboard and I have been using Windows 10 home from a key that I bought a few years ago on kinguin. Even though it is a oem key is it possible to transfer the windows license after I upgrade? Windows says I have it activated with a digital license linked to your Microsoft account. Could I just log in with my Microsoft account and get it reactivated? Thanks in advance!

It should be able to be transferred. Even if it doesnt, you can call microsoft and they will transfer the liscense
