Hi guys just asking what the best Motherboard and CPU would be for me to upgrade to.

My current specs are:
Motherboard-Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Elite ATX LGA1151
CPU-Intel Core i5 9600KF 6 Core LGA 1151 up to 4.6GHz
GPU-Gigabyte Radeon RX 6800 XT Aorus Master 16G
Ram-Corsair 16GB (2x8GB) CMK16GX4M2K3600C19 Vengeance LPX 3600MHz
PSU-1200w Powercase PSUPOW1200max

I was thinking of going AMD now and also staying with gigabyte but not sure on there boards these days.

My budget is around $800 and I'm in Australia

This board will allow you to run either of those cpu's with the power limits turned off in the bios. It's a round a bout way of OC those chips.

Intel Core i5 11400F (6 cores/12 threads) $249

or ...

Intel Core i7 11700F (8 cores/16 threads) $450

Crucial Ballistix 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 3200Mhz CL16 $134

Review of that cpu. Look for Core i5 11400F + Opt on the benchmarks...

I have a Coolmaster water cooling for CPU and a Be quiet Silent base 801.

I use it for gaming and I have just noticed since the upgrade to the 6800 that the graphics aren't as clean and nice as I would like. Mainly on Warzone and Black ops, plus for Mount and Blade 2 it is still a little chuggy.

Bro, that's a good pc, but if you want to upgrade something, just upgrade the processor. For gaming you don't need to upgrade everything. A 9700k is perfectly fine for gaming and it would last for a few more years.

Not upgrading everything just the CPU and Motherboard. CPU is 1151 which they are fazing out, can't really get any that socket any more here in Australia.
