Hey Everyone so I've decided that its about time I want to do an upgrade but I'm not sure the way I should go so here's the problem

Currently, I have an Intel CPU and MOBO

CPU:https://pcpartpicker.com/product/xwhj4D/intel-cpu-bx80662i56500
MOBO:https://pcpartpicker.com/product/rLs8TW/msi-motherboard-h110mgaming

and I'm planning on going to AMD now and getting the new 5000 series when it comes out with
https://pcpartpicker.com/product/nH...us-elite-atx-am4-motherboard-x570-aorus-elite
that motherboard.(Also if you know another mobo under 200 that is a good recommendation please do tell)

So my question is how do I go about doing this. What drivers do I uninstall, what precautions do I take, etc.
If you could help it would be much appreciated.

In my opinion try and find a 6700 or 7700(if you motherboard will support this chip with bios update) used on the cheap you should be able to find one locally. It should tied you over until the release of new AMD chips. In my opinion buying a board now for the chips that haven't arrived is foolish. AMD is dropping support for all boards before 570.

The new AMD CPU line up if going to be a different socket if im not mistaken so that Gigabyte you selected isnt going to work. In my opinion try and find a 6700 or 7700(if you motherboard will support this chip with bios update) used on the cheap you should be able to find one locally. The 5000 series is still gonna use the AM4 socket i think what you mean is after this line there are gonna use a new socket also i can wait I'm doing ok with the system but would like an upgrade
