[SOLVED] upgrading motherboard to support my new upgrades

I had recently upgraded from a i5 8400 to an i7 8700k(There was an incredible black friday deal)
I dont plan on overclocking but when i first built my pc i had purchased 3000mhz ram and my motherboard only supported 2666mhz

So im wondering whether it is worth it to upgrade my motherboard to support the full ram speed

built:i7 8700k, gtx 1070 and 16 gbs of ram 3000mhz
current board is a h370 HD3

Nah. Not worth it.
You won't notice difference between 2666mhz and 3000mhz.
