Hey I had bought a prebuilt 2 years back from ibuypower. It had Windows 8.1 on it, not sure if it was OEM or not but I did the free upgrade to Windows 10 last summer. With the new anniversary update it says I activated my Windows digital license and linked it to my Microsoft account. Does this mean that if I put in my new motherboard and CPU I'll be able to just use a Windows 10 install/recovery disc and use my email without having to buy a new copy? Since there isn't CD keys given for Windows 10 free upgrades from 7/8.1 anyway? Thanks in advance, not sure weather or not to buy a retail copy on ebay or not. I don't want to have to figure out what to do when I'm locked out of my PC with no retail copy on hand.

Nice I had actually done that already earlier in the day when scouring the internet for answers lol. So I guess the next thing I should do is burn an iso image onto a disc or usb drive.
