[SOLVED] Upgrading MSI H110M Grenade

I am a PC upgrade noob. I would like to upgrade my MSI Infinite(2017). I currently have a H110M motherboard. What important factors do I need to know when searching for a new motherboard?

The most important factor is going to be why you want to upgrade the motherboard.

Beyond that, form factor & socket. In all likelihood, if you want to continue using your existing CPU/RAM etc, there's not going to be any gains found by switching the motherboard out.
