Upgrading my 300w PSU

I have a Dell Inspiron 546. I have talked to a Dell representative, and I have been told that I cannot upgrade my PSU, nor my video card. Is there surely no way to upgrade? My mobo is 0F896N.

DEll use a lot of "custom" fit parts so finding a PSU that fits could be a problem. Do you have the model number of the PSU installed ? it should have a sticker on the side.

Don't know what he was smoking, yes , you can upgrade the power supply and the video card, both are standard parts, in an MT case.

Newegg.com has Dell compatible power supplies listed under their house brand name of Rosewill.
