Hi, so I'm trying to upgrade my computer to a better gaming computer but I know nothing about computer parts but here's what I have picked up so far:

Motherboard: Asus Z170-A, LGA1151, Intel Z170, DDR4, ATX
RAM: Kingston 16GB(2x8GB) HyperX Fury DDR4 2666 MHz, CL15
Processor: Skylake i5-6600K, LGA1151, 3,5GHz, 6MB
Cooling: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO
Hard drive: Seagate 1TB Barracuda, 3.5", Sata3, 7200rpm, 64MB

I'm not sure about the hard drive because I just picked it up bc it's cheap.
I'm not currently going to buy SSD.
And I already have a Nvidia GeForce GTX 960 graphics card

Thanks in advance.

Well SSD considerably do speed load times and some of the more expensive ones could really make a difference. Or you could buy a smaller SSD drive just for your operating system.

It all depends on how much you want to spend. IMHO i would at least go for i7 skylake probably require another motherboard and PSU just so you could get more miles out of you PC.
Your GFX card you might want to get the 720 Ti they have come down alot they use to be around £400 now they are half that price thanks to the new DDR5X 1080
