Upgrading my Computer

Hey guys I am new to this but I was wondering what I can do to upgrade this 200 dollar computer I just got. I dont know how bad it really is but I would like to be able to game somewhat decently on it. The specs are as followed:

OS: Windows 8 64bit
Processor: AMD E1-1500 APU with Radeon(tm) HD
Ram: 4g
Graphics: AMD Radeon HD 7310 Graphics

I have the SX2110 Gateway computer and I just want to improve its gaming potential but I do not have the knowledge needed. I would like suggestions on cheap to expensive parts. Im focused on what needs an upgrade the most and I am on a budget (lower to medium end for parts please). I would like to know anything and everything that I should know in order to effectively make a purchase for a part that will do well in my computer as a whole. I dont really need knowledge on RAM I understand that for the most part and 6-8g of ram is about where you wanna be and I will work on that. But right now I would like to replace my Processor and Graphics card. Thank you. If you need any more info let me know and Ill respond asap.

You cannot replace your processor. It is soldered to the motherboard in that system. About all you can do is graphics card. I wouldn't put anything more powerful than an HD 7750 with that CPU. Even then, that CPU is so weak, it probably would even bottleneck a 7750 some. That chip wasn't made for gaming.

personally it scrap it never go with gateway they are rubbish and have most processors soldered to the board.

Only BGA chips are soldered in. The E1-1500 happens to fall into this category.

What types of games could I play on this computer? And on what quality settings? Also do you think you could help me build a computer thats cheaper than 750 dollars that would get me running games like league of legends and elderscrolls online type games on high or ultra settings?

It could probably play older games OK on lower details. FFXI online comes to mind. I was able to play that on a far less powerful system back in the day. This would own in LOL. Elderscrolls online it should do fine. I was invited to play the Beta and never got the time to do it. 🙁

e series doesnt play games very well youd be lucky and any upgrades done to it would be a waste of money and resources

exception added a aftermarket cooler and amd units tend to need aftermarket cooling when gaming

thermaltake is fine also

i recomend aftermarket cooling all the time and how am i almost 800

i have used hitachi more then seagate due to i have had serious issues with seagates parts.

You added $40 to the cost and used substandard parts with regards to quality. Thermaltake PSU are not that great anymore. Everything Raidmax mades is junk. XFX has had quality issues with their GPU's for quite some time now. Hitachi is not known for great quality in HDD either. An i5 4440 doesn't really need an aftermarket cooler either. The OP asked for under $750 and you went nearly $800. I don't argue that an i5 is better, but budget is budget. If I can come up with an i5 build for budget and of decent quality, I would gladly do so.
