I would like to upgrade my computer parts to a i5 6600k and gtx 1060ti but I'm not sure if I would need to upgrade other parts to make it compatible with this CPU and GPU I wanna upgrade too.

My Current Specs:
Motherboard : Gigabyte AM3+ AMD DDR3 1333 760G HDMI USB 3.0 Micro ATX Motherboard GA-78LMT-USB3

Case: VIVO ATX Mid Tower Computer Gaming PC Case / Black Desktop Shell / 4 Fan Mounts, USB 3.0 Port (CASE-V01)

OS: Microsoft Windows 10 Home 64 Bit System Builder OEM | PC Disc

CPU: AMD FD6300WMHKBOX FX-6300 6-Core Processor Black Edition

CD drive: Asus 24x DVD-RW Serial-ATA Internal OEM Optical Drive DRW-24B1ST (Black)

PowerSupply: EVGA 500 W1 80+, 500W Continuous Power, 3 Year Warranty Power Supply 100-W1-0500-KR

RAM: G.Skill F3-12800CL9D-8GBXL 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800 RipjawsX Series for Sandy Bridge (9-9-9-24) Dual Channel kit Desktop Memory Module

GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 750Ti SC 2GB GDDR5 Graphics Card 02G-P4-3753-KR

With the stuff I have now I know I need to get a new Motherboard that fits the i5 6600k but I was wondering what would be a good cheap choice that would work with my case and parts also is there anything else I need to upgrade in order to do this?

Thank you!

Looks good to me. Now pick some memory. About any DDR4 should work, but if you want to be careful the MSI site has a memory compatibility tool. Also, various memory manufacturers' sites also have compatibility tools (e.g., GSkill, Corsair, etc.)

You will need to do a clean install of your Windows 10. Because you've changed the motherboard it...

Just your motherboard and memory. You need DDR4 for the Skylake CPU and motherboard.
Don't know if your case has to have a Micro-ATX or gives you other options. Check it out online or see if it has MB standoffs for larger or smaller boards.

Well, you have lots of options then. The ones I've used are the higher priced ones. Just check out prices and models on Newegg.com or the manufacturers' sites (ASUS, Gigabyte, MSI, Asrock are the major players).

You will need to do a clean install of your Windows 10. Because you've changed the motherboard it will probably think it's a new computer, so it won't activate automatically. You could try the phone call option to Microsoft to see if you can convince them you needed to swap out the motherboard; it might work (or not).
