[SOLVED] Upgrading my CPU & Motherboard

Good morning everyone.

I would like to upgrade my CPU & the motherboard unit but i have no understanding in that topic so i would like to ask you guys for some advice

Why would i want to upgrade? It's old.

So i would like to ask for a possible upgrade that will fit in with my current Graphics card & my other components

Specs:


Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3470 CPU @ 3.20GHz

Motherboard: H61M-P31/W8 (MS - 7788)

Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti

2 Sticks of ram: 1 is 8 and the other one is 4

If any other info is needed i will be happy to provide

BUDGET : 400 $ ( will be able to invest more money if needed)

Upgrading to a new platform, be it Intel or AMD, will require new DDR4 RAM. Personally, I'd recommend going with Ryzen, as in your budget range the Ryzen CPUs mostly beat Intel ones in performance.

Hey, i've check those parts you've suggested and it's seems that the RAM is out of stock, any alternatives ? or should i just wait to restock ?
