Upgrading my CPU

I only play games like Fallout or Skyrim or Planetside 2. I am able to max out the first two but i wan to upgrade my CPU so i can play Planetside 2 at high settings possibly. (currently im playing it on medium at 30-40 fps on huge battles and 60fps when there is not much going on).
I was recommended Intel G3260 but im not sure since it has only two cores and Planetside 2 is known to be very CPU intensive, so any ideas. Im on a tight budget so i cant go above $100

CPU -Intel Pentium G630 2.7GHz (dual core)
Motherboard- Asus P8H61-M LX3 PLUS
RAM - 4GB RAM DDR3
GPU - GTX 650 1GB
PSU - Winstar 500W +12 @28A

Honestly, your GPU is likely more of an issue on that rig. I would get another $50 together, buy a 750ti and test to see if you're getting the performance you want on those games.

You can't get a quad core Intel CPU for under $100 but if you can get an i3 they have good gaming performance and hyperthreading can give them an advantage over other dual cores in some games

Go intel these games are very cpu intensive. I have an fx8350 and a i5 4690k Both great but these games favor intel cpu's. Get ready for fallout 4 with a intel cpu.
