Upgrading my CPU

Hello! Recently i've been wanting to upgrade my CPU, my current pc specs are:
• Intel Core i3-3220 @ 3.30Ghz
• 4GB Ram
• NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750
• Motherboard is MS - 7788

I was thinking of getting this one :
Intel Core i5-6600K, Quad Core, 3.50Ghz
Would my Motherboard be able to support this CPU?
And is there any other problems ? Or something i should know?

Hey,

To change your processor to the I5 6600k, you also need to change your Motherboard, to an LGA 1151 socket. You would also need to buy DDR4 RAM.

No, you must buy another motherboard since the socket between the i3-3220 and i5-6600K is different.

You'd need a new motherboard for the i5-6600k.

Upgrade-wise, you could just upgrade the CPU to the i5-3570k and keep all else the same.
